Somerset County United Way promotes group projects in April and
May to benefit conservation and animal welfare organizations,
as well as Earth-friendly projects for other local nonprofit agencies.
In 2004, more than 445 volunteers helped 26 nonprofits with 38
projects. In honor of Youth Earth Day, more than 60 youth, youth
groups, & families from Somerset County participated in assorted
volunteer projects.
